Cryopreservation

Cryopreservation process tells that cells or whole tissues are preserved by cooling to sub-zero temperatures. Cryopreservation aim is that is to make possible stocks of cells to be stored to prevent the need to have all cell lines in culture at all times. Although ultra-cold freezers may steady some living cells for weeks or even years, liquid nitrogen is needed for longer storage times.
